The Irish Federation of Pike Angling Clubs (IFPAC) is a body representing Pike Anglers in Ireland, North and South.

This Constitution repeals and replaces any former Constitution of the Irish Federation of Pike Angling Clubs.

Title
1. The organisation will be called the "Irish Federation of Pike Angling Clubs" hereafter called the Federation.
2. The headquarters address shall be the address of the current Secretary.
3. The Federation shall, in pursuance of its aims, draw up a code of conduct, the application of which shall be mandatory on affiliated clubs and associated members. The Federation shall also make rules governing the running of fishing competitions.
4. The Federation shall have an Executive Committee whose business shall be the day-to-day management of the affairs of the Federation as directed by the constitution and the decisions of Annual General Meeting's (AGM) or Extra-ordinary General Meeting's (EGM) of the Federation.Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the Federation shall be:
1. To promote the sport of pike angling.
2. To promote the protection and conservation of pike stocks.
3. To represent and promote the interests of affiliated clubs and their members and the interests of associate members.
4. To offer goods and services to affiliated clubs and associate members.
5. To encourage and promote the formation of pike angling clubs.
6. To co-operate with and assist statutory bodies in the protection, conservation and development of pike angling waters.
7. To organise and run fishing competitions and other events that the Executive Committee considers appropriate.
8. To do all or any such lawful things incidental or conductive to the attainment of all or any of the aims or objectives of the Federation.

Membership
1. The Federation will be composed of angling clubs and associations, hereafter referred to as affiliated clubs, and individual members, hereafter referred to as associate members, who engage in the sport of pike angling.
2. Affiliation to the Federation will be subject to the approval of the Executive Committee.
3. Affiliated clubs and their members and associate members shall obey the rules of the Federation and shall be bound by this constitution.
4. Each affiliated club shall pay an annual affiliation fee which will be determined by the AGM of the Federation.
5. Clubs or associations seeking affiliation shall make an application in writing and also stating the name and address of the Secretary of the club or association. On acceptance of the application by the Executive Committee the affiliation fee will become payable. Affiliated clubs may renew their affiliation each year by paying the annual fee as established by the AGM.
5a. The affiliation fee must be paid before the 31st March each year. (amended at AGM 2000)
6. Clubs who have paid their affiliation fee will be entitled to submit motions and to send voting delegates to the subsequent AGM.
7. Newly-formed clubs or associations who apply for affiliation before 31st December in any year and whose application is accepted shall be entitled to submit motions and to send voting delegates to the subsequent AGM.
8. Each affiliated club should hold an AGM. The club shall send to the Secretary of the Federation, within one month of the club's AGM, the name and address of the Secretary of the club.
9. Each affiliated club may appoint two voting delegates to the AGM.
10. Affiliated clubs way be expelled or suspended from membership of the Federation for any of the following reasons,
(a) non-payment of the affiliation fee(b) failure to comply with the rules and/or constitution of the Federation(c) if in the opinion of the Executive Committee, the affiliated club is bringing the sport or the Federation into disrepute.
11. An affiliated club, whose actions are in breach of any of 10(a), 10(b) or 10(c) above, shall be given three (3) weeks notice in writing by the Secretary of the Federation that the Executive Committee of the Federation intends to take action on the matter at its next Committee Meeting.
12. Any decision to expel or suspend an affiliated club for reasons as set out in 10(a), 10(b) or 10(c) above shall only be taken at a properly convened meeting of the Executive Committee and shall require a 2/3 majority of the members present and voting.
13. An affiliated club that has been expelled or suspended under 10(a), 10(b) or 10(c) above shall have the right to appeal the decision verbally or in writing within one month of the expulsion or suspension being notified to the Secretary of the club. Should an appeal to the Executive Committee fail, the club shall have the right to bring a further appeal to the next AGM. The decision of the AGM shall be binding in all respects.
14. The Secretary of the Federation shall keep a list of all affiliated clubs together with the names and addresses of the Secretary's of those clubs.
15. The Secretary of the Federation shall keep a list of all associate members of the Federation.
16. The Secretary of an affiliated club may at any time request a list of affiliated clubs. On receipt of such request, the Secretary of the Federation, shall provide same within a reasonable time.
17. Associate members are defined as those individuals who pay the associate membership fee, the said fee to be determined by the AGM each year.
18. Associate membership is subject to the approval of the Executive Committee.
19. Associate members shall be entitled to attend the AGM of the Federation.
20. At the AGM, the associate member shall,
(a) be entitled to participate in discussions(b) NOT have a vote(c) NOT be entitled to stand for election to the executive committee
21. The associate member shall be entitled to all other benefits of membership.

Finance
1. The annual affiliation fee of affiliated clubs and associate members together with such other grants and monies as may accrue shall form the finances of the Federation and shall be under the control of the Executive Committee. The receipts and expenditure of the Federation shall be audited annually and a report of such receipts and expenditures shall be presented at the AGM each year.
2. The financial year of the Federation shall commence on the 1st February each year and shall end on the 31st January each year.
