Anyone been to Lough Bracken recently? Ive spent a few days on Muckno this week with mixed success and fancy a change. The baliffs from the fisheries board seem to think it would be worth a shot.

Cheers,

Mark.

Thanks everyone. I'm here right now. Conditions look good. Fishing 2 static dead baits. I'll let you know how I get on.

It's been a few years since I fished Bracken, Deego, but if I remember correctly, sand eels used to be a great bait on that lake. Anyhow, take care, good luck and take a few snaps for us.

Cheers. Using sardine at the minute. Lake is very quiet at the moment. Were you not plagued by smaller fish with sandeels?
