Junior Pike Championships
2006
The "DAM" All-Ireland
junior pike championship took place on Sunday 17th September on
the Royal Canal at Ballymahon, Co. Longford. A total of 30+ young
anglers competed on the day of the final, catching and releasing
29 pike to 13lbs 12ozs in warm and sunny weather conditions. Prizes
were presented by the Junior Competitions Officer of the Federation,
John Boyle. The Irish Federation of Pike Angling Clubs would like
to thank DAM for their generous sponsorship of this event. We would
also like to thank all the parents of junior anglers for their efforts.
