Location

From Dromod take the road to Mohill, after about two miles you will come to a turning on the left just before Cloonbonigh Lake, follow this road for about two miles, turn right at the fork, and then turn left at the next fork, the lake will then appear on your left.

The Swims

You will find a gap in the hedge which is the access point, about two hundred yards after you see the lake on your left. Directly in front of the access point, and about twenty yards from the road there are three swims on a gravel bank, and fifty yards to the right there are two swims in the bushes.

The Method

Waggler fished at twenty five yards into just over two feet of water can produce quality fish, Tench and Bream, feeder can be productive but sometimes the disturbance caused by the feeder into shallow water can kill the prospects!! Early season prebaiting can be most effective!!
