Overview

Dooneen is two lakes that are joined together by a small river, there are two single platforms and four or five swims that have been cut through the reeds.
There is an abundance of fish in this lake, Roach, Perch, Rudd, Hybrids and Pike, there is also a good head of Bream to five pounds.

Methods

Having a depth of approximately sixteen feet, all methods work well but remember the Bream like the bait nailed to the bottom, if there are no signs of it having been recently fished then pre bait if these are your quarry.

Lough Nahincha
