KINGSPAN NATIONAL PIKE CHAMPIONSHIP 2005-06



The heats of the Kingspan National Pike Championship have been selected for the 2005/2006 season as follows.

Heat 1 - April 24th - River Inny at Float Bridge
Heat 2 - May 8th - River Barrow below Athy,
Co. Kildare
Heat 3 - June 12th - Killafoal Lake, Roslea, Co. Fermanagh
Heat 4 - July 10th - Lough Egish, Co Monaghan

Heat 5 - August 7th - Lake near Castlebar
Heat 6 - Sept 4th - River Shannon at Shannonbridge
Heat 7 - Oct 2nd - Gulladoo Lake, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim
Heat 8 - Nov 6th - Canal at Monasterevin,
Co. Kildare
Heat 9 - Dec 4th - Lough Acannon, Co Cavan
Heat 10 - Jan 8th - Lough Ramor, Co Cavan

Heat 11 - February 06, Stewards Heat, venue to be decided

NOTE: (Anglers who act as stewards at heats are eligible to enter the "Stewards Heat", provided that the angler has been a steward at 4 heats and has weighed a minimum of 4 fish).



All Ireland Senior Inter-Club Team Championship

NOTE:

The IFPAC runs The "Kingspan" National Pike Championship each year, the All-Ireland inter-club championship, the "Maver Ireland" National Junior pike championship and the All-Ireland junior inter-club championship.

Anglers are reminded of the following competition rules:
An angler must be a member of a fully paid up affiliated club.
An angler may be refused entry to the competition without reason being given.
Anglers who act as stewards at heats will be eligible to enter a special heat for stewards provided that the person has been a steward at 4 heats and has weighed a minimum of 4 fish.
Fish can NOT be weighed by the gills. It is the responsibility of the angler to ensure this does not happen.
A maximum of two fish in a keep sack.
Objections must be made within an hour unless otherwise stated at the check-in.
