Results of Castleconnell Qualifier.
Twenty seven anglers attended 4th Qualifier of the 2023/24 season. Water levels were high with angling patchy depending where you fished. Although there was two doubles caught.
Results were as follows:
1st Sean Markey 48Ib, 9 fish
2nd Mark Quinlivan 35Ib 6oz, 6 fish
Third qualifier was held on the River Suck were thirty-seven attended. Fishing was slow in places depending where you fished. However, there were some good bags - 3 bags over 50Ib and the cut-off being 43Ib 13oz! - albeit two bags over 40Ib didn't make it!

IFPAC held it's 1st Qualifier of the 2023/2024 season today on the River Inny. Turnout was encouraging as 60 anglers attended. Fishing was good (total of 201 fish caught) with 5 doubles landed, the largest being a whopping 19Ib 04oz caught by Eddie the Queen (now promoted to "The King"). Also there was four 9Iber's, six 8Iber's and five 7Iber's caught.
